Antonia Phillips Rabb is the author of five books of poetry of which Pale Moon is the latest. She was born in New York but came to live in Boston as the adopted infant daughter of Jacob and Ada Rabinovitz. An alumnus of Mt. Holyoke College, she attended Boston University and became a protege of the late Professor, John Holmes, who held the poetry seat at Tufts University.

 
 
 

 

 

antonia   Antonia's great passion is reading for groups of small gatherings. Pursuing that passion she has given many readings on television, radio and in bookstores country wide. She has read at the Boston PublicLibrary and given seminars at Harvard's Learning in Retirement, Radcliffe College, Pine Manor Junior College, The Berkshire School, Hebron Academy and Pine Crest in Florida.

The recipient of several grants, she has taught at the Boston Aid to the Blind, as well as senior centers and numerous public schools, in Newton, Brookline, and Marblehead Ma. Upon moving to Florida with her husband, Louis Indeck, her teaching career resumed as she became the facilitator of creative writing groups in the libraries and Community Centers of South Florida. Antonia is a mother of six married children and the grandmother of seventeen.
